A Random Collage of Items Currently Available on BBW’s Website! (because i’m bored)

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday 🙂 Today I didn’t really have any content to post so I thought I’d create a random collage of some items on the BBW website right now. They’ll be put into categories (Shower Gel, Body Cream, Fragrance Mist, Body Lotion, Body Wash, Body Scrub, Pillow Mist, 3 Wick Candles, Single Wick Candles, Wallflowers, Hand Creams and Miscellaneous.) There’ll be between 10 and 20 per category (depending on the type and amount of products).

NEW Bold Blooms Scent Coming? (Sneak Peek)

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today I’m bringing you news of a potential addition to the recently-released Bold Blooms body care collection- a fifth scent! (This is starting to sound a LOT like Frozen 2. LOL!)

This fifth scent, called “Blooming Garden” surfaced in a blog post by Tess from Life Inside the Page. It is still unclear whether this was a failed part of the original collection or if it is supposed to be a later addition to the collection (released separately from the original four scents.)

“Enjoy Spring’s fresh florals just picked in the morning dew.” With notes of “fresh-picked poppy, spring waters, and sky blue amber”, Blooming Garden has light aqua-colored packaging with lavender accents. It’s kind of ironic that although the collection is named “Bold Blooms”, the only floral-related scents are Fresh Cut Lilacs and Whipped Vanilla Chiffon; Black Cherry Merlot, Whipped Vanilla Chiffon, and Champagne Toast are nice scents but have nothing to do with florals at all. Hmmm…

What a mystery! (I hope this one isn’t a failed test scent and is released soon, perhaps at SAS? It sounds amazing and I can’t wait to try it if possible!)

SAS Body Care? Sneak Peek!

Hello everyone, hope you’re doing well!

If you’re a part of the BBW community on social media (i.e. @lifeinsidethepagedailyfinds, @prettymagicalthings, @scentsgalore) or follow a few other BBW related blogs, chances are you’ve seen pictures of the new “Summer Fruits” body care collection floating about. This collection is apparently going to be released at SAS next month (the Mediterranean Market collection- Mediterranean Blue Waters, Capri Coastal Citrus, Portofino Pink Prosecco, etc.- was released at the start of last year’s Summer SAS) which I am extremely excited about!

Now, on to the details. Sometime earlier this month (I think about a week and a half ago) Tess from Life Inside the Page shared the details for a new SAS body care collection featuring four scents- Pretty as a Peach, Pink Watermelon, Raspberry Tangerine, and Sun-Washed Citrus- in fruit-inspired packaging.

Although at first speculated to be a foreign release (hence the billingual label) that might not even appear in the US, it now seems to be apparent that this collection will make its American debut at the SAS, which is now less than a month away. (How exciting!)

The following links are for Tess’s blog posts on the collection itself and her review of each scent.

Another scent was also revealed in a photo that circulated soon after the discovery of the “Summer Fruits” collection. This scent, called “Rosé Champagne”, was also shown with the already-released Beachfront Blanket from the American Summer collection, meaning that this scent might be released very soon- perhaps even before the SAS. (Perhaps around Memorial Day, if BBW chooses to have a sale?)

Anyway, here are the notes for the Summer Fruits body care:

Sun-Washed Citrus: Sugared Lemons, Mandarin, Agave Nectar
Raspberry Tangerine: Wild Raspberry, Fresh Tangerine, Lemon Zest
Pink Watermelon: Juicy Watermelon, Pink Petals, Dewy Aloe

I’m not going to list the Pretty as a Peach notes because the product is already available and has been for quite a long time. If you would like to them, you can view the notes here.

Notes for Rosé Champagne have not yet been released or shared.

Two out of three of these scents- Sun-Washed Citrus and Raspberry Tangerine- have already been released before, but only in soap and candle form. One, Pretty as Peach, has already been released in body care, so this is just a repackage. And the fourth scent, Pink Watermelon, is entirely new (although BBW has made other watermelon products in the past, such as the oh-so-popular Watermelon Lemonade).

Pocketbac Newness!

Hello everyone! Happy Friday afternoon! We’re in the home stretch now 🙂

There are three new hand sanitizers up today! (How exciting!) BBW has been doing a much better job of keeping hand santitizers in stock lately. There seems to be more new packs almost every day!

Today’s lot consists of 2 Pocketbac 5-packs and one hand sanitizer spray. We’ll start with the Pocketbacs and then move on to the spray (which, unfortunately, is not new, just restocked!)

First we have the Sunshine & Lemons 5-pack. I think this one is a great scent- nice, sweet and wonderful in the summer. If you’re looking to stay extra safe even into the warm summer months, this is the perfect accessory for you! (Unless you want to upgrade to Summer Chic Level 2, add on the other Pocketbac set that we’ll describe next!)

The next item is a 5-pack of summer classic, Watermelon Lemonade. I absolutely love this scent and I bet you would too- you can try your first whiff of this or stock up on this classic! I think this pack would go great with Sunshine & Lemons- why not get both for $16? (I’m calling this the Summer Booster Pack!) 🙂

Finally, we have the Pineapple Colada hand sanitizer spray, which was online recently but sold out quickly and has now been restocked. (Thank goodness!) I think this collection is adorable and I hope BBW continues to make these!

MORE Newness at BBW! (OMG)

Hello again everyone! Happy Friday! (Finally, we made it!!) 🙂

Today Kelley of @prettymagicalthings (who lives in Tennessee, where stores are currently open) made another visit to her local BBW and, you guessed it, there’s even more newness this time!!

But of course there are protocols and precautions so everyone will stay safe while shopping at our favorite scented haven. There seems to be glass panes covering the checkout area with one little window for the associates to ring up the customers’ items and hand them their bags (sounds kind of like a pharmacy lol!) All the employees are wearing *adorable gingham* face masks, the transaction keypad has protective covering, they no longer take cash, there are limits for both Pocketbacs and hand soaps, and so much more is different- BBW looks very different!

Anyway, in the world of Wallflowers, we have some very exciting new plugs! Some are already online, while others were teased in the summer previews and are now finally available for purchase. (A nice balance, if you ask me!)

Kelley also found another new Wallflower plug, this one in the “nightlight” style and shaped like a lantern! How cute!

There’s another (somewhat) new Pocketbac that has appeared in store- “You Are Loved” in Cherry Sweet. This was part of the online Mother’s Day 5-pack that debuted when stores were already closed, so although it is not new to us online customers it is brand new in the stores. This is actually great for those of us who missed out on that extremely limited pack- now we can purchase these individually! (And hopefully, they won’t be all gone by the time I get to BBW!)

Speaking of PocketBacs, there is a brand new Pocketbac holder! This holder is in the shape of a seashell and has ombré purple-into-blue-into-green coloring. This is so cute, so excuse me while I make a game plan to grab this without exposing myself!! (Plus, looking for the perfect holder-sanitizer combo? Try that Shell Yeah Island Papaya one- these would go great together!)

The new Gingham air and fabric mist that appeared online the other day was also in stores! (I wonder how this one is- I’d love to try it in the future!) Let’s hope we see this room spray and fragrance mist combo in other scents soon!

And finally, the post that surprised me the most- all the things that are on sale! The majority of stores closed in mid-to-late March, when the Easter products were just appearing. But lo and behold, everything shut down, and stores were left with a bounty of unsold Easter products! Instead of just getting rid of everything, they put it on sale (bravo, BBW!) This way, if you missed out on that bunny soap you wanted, you can get it-for a great price! (That’s because all the unsold Easter and spring products are a whopping 50% off! It’s like the SAS a month early!!)

And that’s not all. I kid you not, all of those 3-piece gift boxes (Gingham, Rose Water & Ivy, Perfect Peony, etc.) that are sold out online are 50% off too!! (Now I’m starting to think about planning a visit. I’d never miss a great sale!) All those White Barn candles from spring, just about any spring product you can imagine- all half off. Great job Bath & Body Works. Finally a good sale (finally!)

But it just keeps getting even better- all Aromatherapy and Men’s Collection are half off too! (Now’s the time to complete your Love: Rose & Vanilla set or stock up on Atlantic for Father’s Day!) Oh, and those Getaway fragrances from earlier this year? (Fiji Sunshine Guava-Tini, Bahamas Pink Passionfruit & Banana Flower?) All half price as well. It seems as if almost everything in BBW is on sale- now’s the perfect time to stock up on some goodies to last you through the rest of this!

Or for your poor souls who don’t even live near an open store, maybe call up a friend or relative (if you have any who live in one of those lucky states) and ask if they’d be willing to make the trek for you and then mail it to you. (Don’t forget to pay Aunt Susan of your old friend Grace back, though!)

What’s New Today! (Hand Sanitizer Goodness!)

Good afternoon, happy Wednesday everyone! I’m here to report on some brand-new goodies from Bath & Body Works- in the form of hand sanitizers! There are three new sanitizer listings on Bath & Body Works this morning, and they’ll probably go quick- so hurry!

The first item is a 5-pack of the Aromatherapy Love: Rose & Vanilla Pocketbacs. These are a clear liquid and have black lids (although the cap color varies) and the same classic Aromatherapy packaging. Like all other 5-packs right now, these are $8. You can buy these here.

Next is the only other Pocketbac 5-pack: this one in the scent Black Cherry Merlot. These sanitizers are from the recent 2020 repackage, with dark purple liquid and packaging (with metallic accents) and black lids (although the cap color can vary.) You can buy these here.

The final new item is another tropical hand sanitizer spray, in Watermelon Lemonade. This is part of the same collection as Pineapple Colada (which is now gone from the website) and Citrus & Sunshine (which is now back in stock). The spray is a red liquid with illustrations of a lemon and watermelon, and retails for $5.50. You can buy this here.

Blue Ocean Waves Hand Soap Debuts as Part of New White Barn Rainbow Collection

Good afternoon everyone! And happy Wednesday! Only two more days until the weekend- thank goodness!

Today, a brand new soap appeared online- Blue Ocean Waves in the gentle foaming formula. It has a matte blueberry-colored bottle and pump with a gold rim. The soap is described as “a perky blend of creamy sandalwood, salty ocean breeze & lemon zest.” It’s seemingly part of the rainbow White Barn collection that launched fairly recently, with four other soaps so far- Fresh Mint & Apple, Island Papaya, Pomegranate Lemonade, and Cotton & Freesia.

Bath & Body Works Stores Continue to Reopen! NEW Candles, Wallflowers, PocketBacs and More!

Exciting news everyone! Our favorite scented haven (aka Bath & Body Works) has started to reopen their bountiful stores!

Thanks to Kelley (@prettymagicalthings on Instagram) we’ve got a first look at some of the new products at the stores that have opened. And boy, is there a plethora of new things to welcome back their fragrance-loving customers: candles, hand sanitizer, and all sorts of other new goodies, with more sure to come soon. (Hooray!)

Although I live near a store that has already reopened, I am a huge germaphobe and will not be doing any shopping in-person (sadly) just yet, as I don’t want the risk of exposure. But thanks to those who are brave enough to venture back out into the land of the living, we have glimpses into our beloved BBW stores once more. 🙂

First we have an outdoor view of her local store in Tennessee, with doors wide open to welcome back shoppers. It seems to be quite busy already- how exciting!

First up we have a collection of brand-new White Barn single wick candles, which are part of an apparently therapeutic/spa-inspired collection, for $14.50. The 6 candles are Hibiscus Waterfalls, Orange Zest + Sea Spray, Sea Salt & Linen, Water + Jasmine, Spring Rainfall, and White Tea + Cotton. The notes for each scent are:
HIBISCUS WATERFALLS: Tropical Hibiscus, Sweet Peach Nectar, Fresh Waterfall Mist
ORANGE ZEST + SEA SPRAY: Freshly Squeezed Orange, Aromatic Herbs, Sea Spray
SEA SALT + LINEN: White Grapefruit, Fresh Salted Air, Lemon Zest
WATER + JASMINE: Chamomile Water, White Jasmine, Bergamot
SPRING RAINFALL: White Melon, Clean Musk, Creamy Coconut
WHITE TEA + COTTON: White Tea, Fresh Lavender, Sun-Washed Cotton

The next item shown on Kelley’s Instagram was the new 3-wick candles, which are all in the same scents as the single wicks and have the same fragrance notes. These candles have black lids.

The next item on her feed are some new hand sanitizers. There are four new Pocketbacs shown in the pictures- “Love Wins” in Sweet Mint & Rain, “Shell Yeah!” in Salted Coconut Water, Fresh Cut Lilacs in Bold Blooms packaging, and “For Shore” in Island Papaya.

The fourth picture features Wallflower bulbs. There are four new bulbs- Hibiscus Waterfalls, White Tea + Cotton, Water + Jasmine, and Sea Salt + Linen, the same scents as the candles- in the same packaging as their candle counterparts.

The final item Kelley featured on her Instagram is a new spiral-pattern white metal soap holder. We do not yet have a price for this item, but it will likely be between $10 and $15.

NEW Gingham Fabric Spray Has Debuted Online!

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your afternoon (or morning!)

Today Bath & Body Works’ first fabric spray debuted online, available in their popular and classic signature scent, Gingham. The product was first discovered and revealed in a sneak peek last week, and it has now appeared online for purchase (the stores are currently closed due to COVID-19, so the spray is obviously not available there.) The spray retails for $9.50. The scent is the same as all other Gingham products; “a fresh blend of bright florals & a hint of sweet citrus. Notes of blue freesia, sweet clementine & soft violet petal with Essential Oils.” The product description includes the Gingham scent’s slogan, “Fresh. Vibrant. Happy.” and reads “Lightly fragrance your fabrics with two quick bursts of this water based formula, exclusively developed by our team of home fragrance experts.” Although the product listing reads “Fabric Spray”, the packaging reads “Air & Fabric Mist”. This seems to be a cross between a fabric mist and a room spray, the latter of which Bath & Body Works already sells.

It will be interesting to see whether Bath & Body Works releases fabric mists in their other signature scents, such as Perfect Peony and A Thousand Wishes, in the future.

New “Right Meow: Apple Hibiscus” Hand Soap Online!

Hello everyone, happy Tuesday! I hope you’re all faring well as the majority of us are approaching two months of quarantine! (Yikes!)

Today a single new product appeared online: a hand soap seemingly part of the ginormous “Foamy Friends” collection. The soap is a green color with a cat illustration on the packaging. The soap is called “Right Meow” in the scent Apple Hibiscus.

According to the fragrance description, Right Meow is “a juicy, floral blend of apple nectar, hibiscus & sweet orange”.

This soap was first released in February of this year, with some of the other “Foamy Friends” soaps. However, this is the first time we have seen it online in quite a while.

If you’re looking to buy soaps in bulk, this one is part of the current “Mix and Match: 6 for $26 or 4 for $20” soap deal. If you’re looking to try this one as well as a few of the other new ones (such as Pomegranate Lemonade and Fresh Mint & Apple, which sound amazing to me) and some of the other Foamy Friends soaps, this would be a perfect time!
